- Piilani Highway (Hawaii Route 31) Restrictions: Our vehicles are not allowed on the section of Highway 31 between Kipahulu and Ulupalakua. This unpaved stretch is remote and lacks reliable phone signals, making accessing help or emergency services difficult. If a vehicle faces any issues or requires towing in this area, renters will bear all related costs. Thus, we recommend avoiding this and other unpaved roads during your rental.
- Piilani Highway (Hawaii Route 31) Limit: For your safety, please refrain from driving our vehicles south of Makena on Piilani Highway.
- Kahekili Highway (Route 340) Advisory: Honokohau Bay, a stunning spot on Maui’s west coast, marks the transition from Honoapiilani Highway (Highway 30) to Kahekili Highway (Route 340). However, driving our cars on Route 340 between Honokohau Bay and Waihee is prohibited.
